disk-at-once CD burning problems HELP !!!!!!!!!!

I have a Traxdata 4260 SCSI CD burner, but for some reason, when I try to write an audio CD in disk-at-once mode, it crashes and wastes the CDR. I have no problem in track-at-once mode. I even copy whole CDs (data CD) without any problems.Should it be a buffer underrun problem, it would do the same with both formats (audio or data), but the sucker just doesn't want to write the whole CD at a time.
I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
