Hi All!
After many hours trying to get the beta 5 drivers to load/work (I understand the concept of beta) I finally got the beta 4 drivers to load (although I'm not sure exactly how.) I am using Cakewalk Pro 9.03.
Tracks that I recorded correctly (pre XP) don't seem to stay in sync now. I keep the apps and audio files on different drives. Also, when I finally think they ARE in sync, when I record, things lock up, it gets in an eternal "stuttering" loop, and I must turn off the computer. Is this the Aardvark driver hell that I've entered? I've adjusted the latency and buffer size - nothing seems to stick. Is there something else to try (outside of ditching the card - HA!)
Like I said, I know until the real WDM drivers arrive, I may be stuck, but ANY advice of what else I can try to muddle through would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
