Direct monitoring in onyx 1640i?

Hello,
I have a question about the new Mackie onyx mixers, in particular the 1640i. Dose anyone know if it is possible to use direct monitoring while using it with cubase? I do have the onyx 1640 and I am thinking of selling that and by the 1640i instead if the direct monitoring is fully incorprated...

Yes it can route the ins to the outs with a push of a button check it out on the photo of it, but the board you have all you need to do it route aux send 1 back into a channel, and use the aux sends on your ins to direct monitor that way works perfect...

You can direct monitor with the 1640. You want the added benefit of tapping the firewire signal after the eq ?
