Digo 002 or Presonus firepod?

hi everyone,

Here is the usual question right. I owned a digi 002 b4 sold it a few yrs ago but now I have a band again and need to record more then 2 instruments at a time. Actually a full drum set, guitar, keyboard, bass, 3 vocals, and a harmonica. So I figure I need at least 8 in at 1 time. Since vocals and keyboard are fine added into the mix later.

I can get a digi 002 for about 450 or I can purchase a presonus for 350. Well I know got to be better stuff but it seems like a good idea to go witht he digi 002 but I got a studio friend who is not searing by presonus

I have a feeling this maybe a choice of what I like better to work with rather than one is better than the other? Either pre's or D/A's?
