Does anyone have one of these ? How do they sound are they like real harmonies or more like Minnie Mouse?

I did alot of messing around at the store with one of these units.
I think it would be okay for a live performance, but as far as recording, a decently trained ear will pick out the "artificial" sound.
That's just my opinion, though.
YMMV

it just seems like one of those to good to be true things.Kinda like Brian Wilson in a box. I think live it would freak people out anyway,1 person singing 4 voices coming out. I'd like to hear it.

The Studio Vocalist, discontinued 2 rack space unit, was the best one of the lot.I still have mine, and I did a bunch of gigs with it as part of a one man MIDI band. The Studio sounds a lot better than the cheaper ones, especially the last version, the EX.At gigs, most folks dug the sound,I never got any complaints about it.The company that Digitech partnered with to make these machines,IVL,now makes the Helicon with T.C.Electronic.
