Hi all A friend of mine has an Digitech GNX 3 and what he wants to do is plug in 2 guitars Can he just use a splitter

Why are all your posts about your friend?
Are we talking two guitars plugged in playing at the same time by your friend with 4 arms, or wanting to have 2 guitars plugged in so he can swap them over quickly without unplug/plug issues....?

Cuz lately we spoke and he asked me some questions 
He just want to play with his kid and want to have the same sound at the same time (he will be changing the sounds on the multieffect)

Just another guy, really.
Unless the two guitars are very similar, it will probably drive you nuts. Well, most guitars have volume knobs, so it might work.
