Greetings. I am able to record a song from a cassette unit using a line in from the unit. however, i would like to record a copy of a tune from the internet to a new cassette. Can anyone help? jj

Yo JBarnett:

At the moment I don't record music from my pc to anything; however, if you get into the search part of this program, there must be many ways.

Most people record digital to digital; like from your pc to a CD. I guess it's possible to do pc to DAT; and, if you want analog, you can patch into where your speakers patch into your pc and run that signal to a cassette.

I'm sure you will find a way. Search around this site.

most computer speakers are powered ... if yours are ... you should be able to just unplug them and use that output jack into the cassette deck.

I agree with BigKahuna.

Use a RCA to 1/8" (stereo jack) patch cord.

Connect the 1/8" jack to the LINE OUT of your computer.

Connect the RCA to the LINE IN of your tape deck.

Hopefully, that will work. :)

PC to tape deck

Some soundcards have rca output connections
Just come out of the puter and connect into the deck and voila...not to tough.
