If all I want is to add 8 preamps to my MOTU Traveler, am I really missing out on anything by getting the D8 instead of the FS? I see a lot of sale threads where people are getting rid of D8s because they are upgrading to the FS, but are there people who have had D8s for a while and not had any reason to upgrade? I don't want to get something that I'm just going to want to get rid of later, but there is a pretty big price difference, so I need to make sure there's a reason to get the more expensive one.
