Digi OO1.. .should I get it?

I am new to setting up a studio, and have been reading about the Digi oo1 it looks pretty cool, wondering if anyone has the windows based version yet. I thought about the Roland VS 1680 also, not sure what is the best way to go. Would appreciate any thoughts on the subject and any experiences you have had with the Pro tools.. I think I'm leaning that way.

I'm running it on one of my machines and I'm very satisfied. I have some PCs running Vegas but I have to say, ProTools rulz.
 
Thanks for the reply Track Rat... I think the Pro Tools is the way I'm leaning. Did you find that it worked well right out of the box or did you have any hook-up problems. How are the effects that come with it. Did you find it hard using the mouse to mix with.. is there a lag between making edits and the edit actually taking affect? Thanks again for the info
 
I could be wrong but I think TrackRat uses his Digi001 with a Mac. If you have a Mac great but the Digi001 has only been out for the PC for a couple of weeks and from what I read at their user conference you need a very specific PC set up. check out their user forum first if you are going the PC route. http://www.digidesign.com/conf
