Just Killing Time
Windows XP SP3 on an IMac (late 2006 w/boot camp 2.2), Dual-core processor@2.16GHz and 3GB of RAM. Mbox 2, Pro Tools 7.4 installed. (Internet Explorer 8 has been removed, and all the Windows Updates and Boot Camp Updates have been downloaded and installed)
Now that that's out of the way, I downloaded the Digi MME Helper (7.0 drivers) from here (link), so that I could successfully get audio to play through my MBox 2 . I've dragged Winamp into the MME Helper. I set the Mbox2 as my audio device in Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices. I've disabled the inbuilt soundcard and rebooted. The audio plays back from winamp fine, but about every 30-45 seconds, the audio stops playing for a few seconds, then jitters (spits out split seconds of audio for a second or two), and then repeats the cycle.
Anybody have any ideas?
