Digi 001 + Imac G3 - Possible?

Here's the scoop. My buddy wants to sell his Digi 001 to me for cheap, but I have an Imac G3 500mHz with no PCI slot to plug the card into. I realize that this is a longshot but has anyone ever heard of someway to hotrod the Digi so's it will work with the Imac?

i think what you need is a PCI expansion module. i'm pretty sure this is what it's called (seems simple enough). you'll have to do some research on it to be sure. but what they do is you plug the PCI cards in there and they connect via firewire or something to your laptop. hope this helps

I couldn't find anything that is FW to PCI, only cardbus to PCI. I think you're going to have a bit of trouble getting it to work.
