It seems as if the kick on Drama Ring is hitting offbeat (late).

Thanks for the feedback... I will get at your post Thrist...

Spin pprieciate the feedback.. What bar are you talking about with the kick... I don't hear the lateness....

I hear the lateness in the kick drum on Drama King

at the 5 second mark....here it then it drops every 16 counts i don't know what it is, maybe the quantizing is too tight on it..but it does seem late....and it's not a "good" late.

Here we go....nice album filler on a hip hop album, could be a tight single for an r&b album with that Beyounce Energy.

Rayvon....simple little track, doesn't get you excited to flow on it though..but then again it's the artist job to get the listerner excited. It's a hella good track cause it make an artist have to make it tighter than what it is....sometimes i hate doing a super tight track...cause the artist gets lazy about the flows.

Nice work though....you always come with some good ish

Good to see you back again :)

Drama King - loving the piano on this one, I agree with everyone else about the kick. Got a nice feeling going on with it.

Rayvon - as flossy said, not a supertight beat. I like the drumwork going on. Nice gentle groove going on leaving lots of room for the artist to be creative. The track in istelf isn't the tightest, but if you got a good artist with lots of creatvity it could turn out nice.

Nice to see you round here again, from these beats I can tell that your style is evolving.

Welcome back.

pprieciate the peeps and comments.... I still cant hear the lateness.. But too many other people on other sites saying da same thang... I guess on that track I used my RZA time signature LOL.....

Thanks again...

More to come from the Shop.

Been too long since you dropped anything on us. Nice raw shit as always.

You use the S2000 for your samples right? So do you sample the whole song and then chop it in the S2000 or do you do the chops first then bring them into the sampler? Let me know.

Good look on the peep....

I used to record the sample and chop it in s2000.... But now it is much easier to work on samples in PC software (Wave Lab, Sound Forge) then tranfser it via - USB SCSI.

More to come...
