This is a song a friend and I recorded this song about a year ago. The recording quality is pretty crummy, since it was I believe the second song we did together, and we didn't really know how to do anything. I just learned on the fly. the guitars were the amp SPEAKER out straight to my line in. I remember the sparks flying on my soundcard as I plugged in. The keyboard is a casio from the late 80's and the drums are also from that.

Don't ask why its in the images folder =P

Cool enough keyboards.

The out of tune guit and bass are really hurting the song.

The Lead guitar doesn't sound much out of tune, but the bass definetely is.

Which guitars are out the tune? the main solo, the little copied part at the end, or both?

decent melody.. it sounds like what you described, except you forgot to mention that everything was out of tune.. sounds like the drums are out of phase.. like two of the same highhat tracks were playing.. I don't know..

the vocal in the beginning sounded clean.. the bass makes it unlistenable..

The drum was from my casio 80's keyboard. rock #2 drum beat. That's just the way it sounds. like crapsky

I think I'm talking about the main solo part. It's that buzzy sounding guitar on the right side (I mean buzzy in a good way - I liked the tone). As an example - listen particularly from 1:24-1:30.

My question would be, why would you post a song when you knew the bass was really out of tune?

Just wonderin'

I love it!!!!!
I am in a funk and you just put a big smile on my face!

We made it a year ago, and we made the song in a rushed 2 hour time period. I could redo the bass now, but I don't want to revisit the song. It's done, live and learn, although We could add some pretty gnarly things onto it, now that we are a little more advanced in our playing, and recording.

that's the funniest thing I've ever heard:D :D :D :D :D

5 star laugher.

It'd be great for a Volkswagen commercial
