Difference between ProAudio9 and HomeStudio2004?

I was wondering are there much difference bwteen the two?
I am planning to get homestudio 2004....
 
Pro Audio 9 is a program that was released five years ago. It has no support for Direct X instruments, nor for low-latency WDM or ASIO drivers.

Home Studio 2004 is the "lite" version of SONAR, Pro Audio's modern descendant.
 
HS2004 lacks some obscure MIDI editing features (Groove Quantize for one) and has no CAL support.
