According to the RT60 calculator I used I have a problem at & below 500Hz. Now I'd love to use the trap designs on the sites of Mr. Winer & Mr.Sayer, but with my woodworking skills I wouldn't have fingers left to turn the knobs on the gear. So I call the boys at "Klaus Knuff Kunstruckshun" and they can't help 'till late summer. But these http://www.teresaudio.com/haven/traps/traps.html
I could build my self if someone tells me they really will work, I'm thinking I heard someone say they don't do diddley, Whadda you guys think?

They work but just not as efficiently for the space they occupy as panel traps and helmholtz resonators. Panel bass traps really aren't that complicated. They really just consist of a rectangle frame and 4x8 sheets of plywood with some rigid fiberglass in between. The whole thing is less than a dozen pieces and you could probably have them cut at the store for you.

As Tex said, tube shaped traps work - they're just not a particularly good design. You can get better results from a plain panel of thick, dense rigid fiberglass. If you're not handy with tools and have a reasonable budget you'll get even better results buying "real" bass traps.
