Hi.
I just bought nuendo/RME ADI-8 Converters. I bought two of them, but did I buy the right ones?

It doesn't say ADI-8 Pro on it anywhere.
It does say RME on the back. But the model is written as:
Nuendo 8 I/O Interface.
I can't find it on the nuendo website (I know this is not the 96Khz version). What is this the equivalent to on the RME website? Do I need to get drivers for this or do I just worry about what I plug it into on my computer?
I still am in the process of buying an ADAT card.

By the way, how much should these go for?

Anyway, they look awesome. Hopefully I'm on the way to some semi-pro sound.

Nope, not that one... but it does look exactly like this:

Now I need some good pre-amps or maybe just upgrade my mixer. I can record 16 channels simultaneously! Woohoo!
I probably will never go past 9 or 10 but its still nice to have.

What type of cable do I use to connect this to a hammerfall?

You would use adat optical cables. Same stuff as Toslink. Normaly, there come a set of 2 (1 link) with your hammerfall. It did with mine.

I just got the Multiface unit ,yself an I am very impressed. Any tips on getting sound from my Motif into Sonar?????

I have the stereo optical connection and assignable outs as well.... To go digital or Analog that is the question.....

I have heard that optical digital should be done for exact stereo copies not track by track audio.....

I am looking to sequence and mix within Sonar...... Any recommendations??
