Did anyone do American Idol?

I tried to sneak in to Kelly Clarkson's dressing room but was apprehended by security :-(

WAIT!? Are we talking about the same thing?
 
I didn't even know it started. Nope. I never will. America is racist, too. On two occasions, the black person should have one where it was just an attractive white male with a guitar.

Seriously though, hatred against my people by anyone with Crow in their handle, or anyone else is wrong... The Eskimo people are a "proud Native American people." And I discourage ANY hatred of my people or anyone else based on race, creed or color. Unlike some? I believe a man should be judged by the content of his character... Someone famous said this once? But I fear it has been forgotten, lost in the annals of time.

We would all do well to remember those words, "Not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character."

Seriously, if you see an attractive white guy with a guitar in American Idol, it's pretty much a guarantee he will win. That's America right now.

Yeah, it's cool. I'm about to go to bed. I have an 11:00 class tomorrow which is awesome! I get sleep in. :)


Have you heard of a show called Adventure Time? It's on cartoon network. It's like a modern day Yellow Submarine movie but in a series.


I find this semester of college to be a lot harder than my last. I have 150 pages of reading a day. That includes English, Mass Communications, Old Testement (requirement :( ), American History and a Foundations class. Surprisingly, I'm doing all the work despite my bad doings in da nightlife. :)


I don't know how I do it. I should stop for a good while. I like writing drunk but I don't like reading drunk.
 
Eh, I don't watch much tv. And not American Idol.

I was gonna ask how school was going. What could worse than reading drunk??? Reading with a hang-over.
 
That's true. Reading with a hangover would be bad.


I don't know, I like writing while drunk because I'm not afraid to say what my mind thinks. That's what makes a good writer. I only hate reading because, well, I could be doing something more fun, ya know?! :D

Eh. I'm done. It was a fun night. Maybe a night to remember. Who knows. :) Night Chili. Night everybody! :D

Adventure Time!!!

Oh my god - put that in my dump truck. Don't squeeze me to hard - I'll fart. They do a lot of farting on that show.

We have a DVD with 17 episodes and gets played all of the time.
That and a DVD of Regular Show.
 
Two of the singers I use on some of my demos tried out for Idol - neither made it past the 1st phase where staffers listen to you.

They are both very good singers - and both are attractive white folk - who likely meet whatever appearance criteria Idol needs. However, I don't perceive that either of them have an interesting back story or the star quality that I assume Idol looks for.

It does put it into perspective for me - I would give a lesser used limb to be able to sing as good as either of them - yet they were not good enough to even get through the preliminary qualifier rounds.

I do agree that this past year the young, black male (who I think was the most dynamic vocalist/performer I've seen in several decades) was much better then Phillip Phillips (I think that's his name) - I did not see anything special about Phillips.
