Hey all
This may apply to all computer recording software but i did this on cool edit pro. i am looking for something to keep an overall time so i though i would use the metronome. What i did, to see if it would keep proper time, was play the metroname through my speakers adn record that to a track. i then played that track back through my speakers with the metronome. Thw were were definately NOT in time. Obviously there is some sort of latency issue here but i'm not impressed. I never noticed this before or though about it but would all fo the tracks that i record be several hundered millisendos behind what is coming through the headphones? How can i fix this? I'm using a tascam us122 and a pentium IV laptop
