Hey guys.
Playing live, using a friends KC500 as a monitor plus line out to the club PA. Yikes, the hum. Tried both 1/4 inch out and XLR out from the amp. What a racket (even into a DI box). I thought the XLR would take care of the hum. We always have noise issues using the amp line out. I ended up skipping the amp and going direct into the DI box (not mine).
Can anyone supply info (or link) so I can do a little research on exactly what they do/don't do, what to look for, brands, etc.

I've never tried them, but have heard they work.
