Hi:
I'm new here, and really distraught over a possible PreSonus issue. There's a high-pitched tone, or "whine" which begins as soon as I hit the record button. I have a new AudioBox USB and that's when the issue began. Work has screeched to a halt - have tried three different microphones - one results in intermittent static on recordings, the other two have the high pitched tone. I've emailed PreSonus - no response yet. Somebody suggested A/D Interface issue - okay, what's that? I am open to any and all suggestions and I need to fix this FAST because a job is depending on it. Please don't be too technical - I'm recording on Adobe Audition 3 with Vista, Sennheiser Phones, Harlan Hogan V-1 Microphone, sound-treated studio and until I bought a new PreSonus, everything was ducky. PreSonus is the exact one I had before. Thank you and thanks and also Merci!
