Delta66 multiclient driver???

This is my first post, so I hope this is in the proper place.

Here's my dumb question...

I use Fruity Loops for rhythm tracks, and I record those into Sound Forge for editing. This worked fine on my SBLive! Value card (no wisecracks!), but when I installed a new Delta66, I no longer can see the levels in Sound Forge.

Is this because Midiman doesn't have multiclient drivers available yet (except the brand new beta versions available last night)? I heard that this was the case, but I'm second guessing my configurations also, since i'm new to the Delta. Also, can somebody please explain what "multiclient" entails, specifically? Is it just more than one application using the same card at once or is it more complicated than that.

Your guess as to what "multiclient" means is right on. Didn't know the SB Live drivers were multiclient...
 
you're recording fruity loops in sound forge? why? am i missing something?
 
I record from Fruity to Sound Forge because I use the wave files in Acid as opposed to using Fruity's pattern sequencer. Is there a better way to go about this as far as recording from Fruity's step sequencer?

Note that my Fruity is unregistered until I realize which version i want to purchase. Can the unregistered version mix down to a wave file? If not, can all of the registered ones do that?

oh, you're using a demo ....i see......no demo will save to wav, but all the registered versions will...
 
I think the demo of fruity loops does indeed export to wave, you just can't save! In other words, the demo is only adequate for making short samples, not for making long tracks.
