Hi,
I'm pretty new to this DAW world, so forgive me if my questions don't make sens.
I plan to buy a delta 44 soon. I read somewhere that there could be some compatibility problems with the via chipsets of amd CPU. My motherboard has KT266A chipset with an athlon 1.7 gig. Does anybody heard about problems using delta44 and these chipset?

People have posted here in the past saying that they have no problems with a Delta soundcard on a KT266A based motherboard.

Do a search on "KT266A Delta" to see for yourself

It was fixed in a previous driver. Here is the release note, you can see it on m-audio.com if you search for "previous and BETA versions" when doing a driver search.

Release Notes: Adds support for Delta 1010LT. Fixes low latency settings in XP. Fixes VIA playback crackle. FINAL RELEASE.
Please note: The 5.10.0.26 driver version has a default buffer setting of 384 samples per buffer. This buffer size may be too small for your computer and may cause pops and clicks in your audio. Raising the buffer size to 512 or above should eliminate the pops. This should have little effect on your latency.
