DELTA44 Final Check Before I Buy

I would greatly appriciate it if a couple of you guys would give me the thumbs up before i make my puchase of the Delta44. Does everything match up, and should everything work fine???

I have:
WindowsXP
Celeron 433mhz PII
320 Ram
5200RPM 40gig Hardrive (is there a noticable differance
between the 7200RPM and the 5200RPM?)
Sonar 1.0
......anything im forgetting......
dunno.....

Once you get the soundcard upgrade to a duron, athlon or pIII. Then get the Harddrive. The 433 clerley is your weakest link right now.
 
xp on a 433 may run slow, i just built a computer with a k6-400 then a 500, they both are kinda slow compaired to me or 98. with xp i say you really need a 750 or faster and a nice amount of ram, which you have.
 
With the price of MOBOs and chips...I don't see any reason why you don't upgrade everything. You doing the right thing by getting an M-Audio card...now just dig deeper in your pocket and find some change to upgrade the rest. Best of luck!
 
Depending on what motherboard you have upgrading processor may require replacing motherboard as well, even if you stay within Intel line.
 
Forget the Intel chip...fine as it may be...and go get an Athlon/MB combo. More than likely a lot less than upgrading with Intel.
