I recently purchased a 2nd delta1010. I've been experimenting with syncing the two cards up. So far so good - at least with newest ASIO (beta 29X12) drivers. One interesting tidbit of information though:
The first thing I tested for was track offset - as Delta drivers have been plagued with this problem in the past. At 96K I measured an offset of about 1ms(~0.8ms). However the phase of the new track was reversed (plugged the output right into the input). This occurred whether I patched input and output from the same card or different cards. I don't know if this has anything to do with the multicard setup, or if it's just what would happen anyway. In anycase, the phase switch on the outs in the new control panel takes care of it.
I wish there was some way to get the software to compensate even for that 1ms - since it's consistent it would be as simple as having it automatically move new tracks over.
Anyway, preliminary tests are good. I'll let you all know how it goes after my first >8 track recording session.
