Anyone used it yet? Just curious. I think my 1010 came with the .27. Just wondering if I should dl them or not?

:D

Maybe a little off topic...(sorry)

Once you download these new drivers--how do you install them---????

I unzipped these files....but they dont have an install or .exe on them?!?!?!?!

am I manually supposed to copy them somewhere??

Copy the unzipped files to a floppy. Go to device manager and select audiocard and click update drivers. Specify the location as drive A:

You really need to uninstall the old drivers first. Delta has an "uninstall utility" on their web site for this purpose (it may even have come with the drivers you downloaded). Once you've uninstalled the old drivers, if you simply reboot, then Windows Plug and Play should find the card and ask for the drivers. At that point insert the floppy and point the installer program to A: drive.

I agree with Stealthtech, unless you are having specific problems with your card, I wouldn't bother with a beta.

You should indeed uninstall first. The 29x12 contains the uninstaller.
If you only use ASIO applications, the 27s are mostly fine. However, the 29x12 is perfectly stable and cures a few bugs...
ASIO incompatability in ACID 4.0
WDM recording offset in Sonar and Cool Edit Pro etc (overdubs record late by the delay of the buffer setting).
