ok is there much of a difference between these two? i was looking at the 66 on the m-audio page but i thinkt he picture is actually a 44. does the 66 have 6 inputs?

The 66 includes two channels of SPDIF, so technically yeah you get 6 channels, but only 4 analog inputs.
