Delta 66 Recording Problems

I just purchased the Omni Studio package which includes the Delta 66. I also have an SBLive! Platinum which I plan to use from here on as a MIDI interface because I have my Nord Modular hooked up to it for PC editing, which is crucial.

The moment I installed the card I've had problems trying to get it to record without clicks, pops, and noise. When I have all external audio devices shut off, I still get a repetetive popping noise. Listening to OS sounds and mp3's has perfect playback, so the issue is restricted to recording. I'd really appreciate it if you guys can help me figure out what's wrong.

System Specifications:
Windows Millenium OS
Intel Pentium III 500MHz
Asus 440BX P3B-F Motherboard
512MB PC100 RAM

Driver:
Delta 66 Driver Version: 4.22.27 with 1.01.18 panel

Delta Control Panel Monitor Mixer Tab:
WaveOut 1/2 faders set at -0.5db
WaveOut 3/4 faders set at -0.5db
HWIn 1/2 faders set at -0.5db
HWin 3/4 faders set at -0.5db
All SPIDF Ins/Outs checked as muted

Delta Control Panel Patchbay Router Tab:
HW Out 1/2: Monitor Mixer
HW Out 3/4: WaveOut 3/4

Delta Control Panel Hardware Settings:
Master Clock: Internal
Codec Sample Rate: 48,000 KHz (Reset Rate When Idle)
Multi-Track Driver Deviecs: Single and In-Sync
DMA Buffer Size: 20 miliseconds
ASIO/EASI: 2688 samples per buffer
Signal Levels: All set at +4db

Sounds and Multimedia Control Panel Audio Tab:
Sound Playback: Delta66 WaveOut 1/2
Sound Recording: PCM In 3/4 Delta 66
MIDI Music Playback: SBLive! Midi Synth

Sounds and Multimedia Control Panel Voice Tab:
Voice Playback: WaveOut 1/2 Delta 66
Voice Capture: PCM In 3/4 Delta 66

I've also set "use audio features on this device" for all Delta-related audio devices and checked "do not use audio features on this device" for the SBLive. Before, I had WDM drivers from March 2, 2001 installed before I replaced them with the 4.22.27 drivers. Now I get a different pops and clicks and get playback error dialogs when getting to record in Soundforge 5.0 while Winamp is running.

Here is a small sample (562KB) of the clicking I get:

I recorded this without having any audio devices on including the Omni. I then turned it back on and listened to what was recorded.

Thanks.

I would be interested in hearing your solution. I recently had problems with pops and clicks while recodring midi with the Digi 001 and SB Live. I discovered the SB Live operates at only 48 kHz sample rate and I had my Digi set to 44.1 kHz. When I bumped up the Digi to 48 kHz sample rate, the clicks and pops stopped.
