delta 66, omni and Sonar

I have the above set-up and wish to monitor on headphones or the DAW monitors when recording. Problem is, input 1 on the omni only gives me left channel monitoring and input 2 gives me only sound in my right phones/monitor speaker. Playback fropm Sonar is okay, I can hear the mono signal in both phones/speakers.

Any suggestions?

Go into your software mixer and set the balance to center.
I believe its called the delta control panel,this is where your audio passes before it gets to sonar.

Thanks but I've tried that, it doesn't make any difference whatsoever to the panning.

Can you think of anything else?

Are you sure?
Open up the delta panel without opening sonar and try this.
you should use process of elimination.

Hey, acidrock, I re-tried panning in the delta monitor mixer-and it worked! But I tested that numerous times before to no effect.

Maybe its the cult of the mysterious x files.
