Looks like a nice card, are you just supposed to use 2 of the 4 "outs" to a monitor system or what? Doesn't appear to have any connections at all besides the 8 jacks.

Ok so to answer my own question it looks like the Omni as well...Thats nearly £300 on interface, will the 44+Omni combination provide good results?

You don't need the Omni, you can use a small mixer instead.
The extra outputs are handy if you want to run one pair back to your mixer, and the other pair to a second set of monitors

I have a behringer mixer, so is it not worth getting the omni, can i do the same job with my mixer?

Or use the mixer in your monitoring chain, if you're picking up a separate preamp. The Behringers are certainly fine for that. I think the Omni thing is a bit limiting for future expansion (although good for what it is). The other outs on the Delta give you options for signal routing if you have outboard processors or recorders.
