First off, anyone know of any issues with the setup listed above? If so what? Becasue I am having some problems (I am hoping that it is novice error). Ok M-Audio tells you on there website how to setup the delta up for cakewalk (Same audio setup for Sonar more or less, same menus at least:) 1st problem, it tells me to turn up ALL the faders on the delta control panel, and make sure nothing is muted. If I do that I get mad feedback out of my monitors, but here is another thing that concerns me. Right when I get into to windows, I can talk into the mic, and I will hear my voice out of the monitors. And also, I cant get my voice to stop comming out of the monitors at all. So if I wanted it to run to my headphones. Cant do it.

Well you could always just turn off your poweramp. I do that because I have no choice.

What's the rest of your setup, are you using a mixer? I rarely even look at the maudio control panal. Only thing I use it for is routing the odd input out to a mixer for easier control when overdubbing.

No Mixer. And the Monitors are Powered. I will figure somthing out. lol.

I'm running with the Delta 1010, Sonar and W2k and it works fine. All the controls in the Delta control panel are full on, like they say to.

Do you get feedback before you start Sonar? You should be able to use just the Delta control panel to hear what is going into the Delta inputs. (I think this is true for the 44 as well as the 1010). The Delta "Montior Mixer" tab on their control panel controls what goes into the "mix" output. It sounds like you have this working since you can hear your voice in the monitors.

If the problem starts when you run Sonar, check the monitoring in Sonar -- it should be off. (I don't remember where this control is, I've only been using Sonar for a week.) One way to check this to turn off the hardware inputs that are going to the "mix" on the Delta. If you still hear the inputs while running Sonar, then the monitoring function is on.

As I said, I've only been doing this for one week  , so don't take everything I said as an absolute.
