I just bought a Delta 44 and I'm trying to figure this sucka out.

With Cakewalk open, the Delta sample rate will only go to 22050. It will not stay on any other setting. If I close Cakewalk it will automatically switch to 44100. I have the rate set at 44100 in Cakewalk. Anybody seen this before?

Help! My drum machine really sounds like ka ka at this rate.

I'm not sure what that means.

I updated drivers from M-audio website and installed them.

In Cakewalk I have the Delta 44 1/2, 3/4, Mon. mixer, and multi selected.

The manual only mentions ASIO under Macintosh Installation. I'm not using a Mac, do I still need to adjust this?

ASIO is also used in windows.
Check your Audio Devices Section of Properties.
I know there is a section that allows you to choose your drivers.

I have a Delta 44 as well...

Another thought... go into your Delta Control Panel and Lock the rate...
What version of Cakewalk are you using?

Ah HAH!!!

The rate lock was it. The manual specifically says to uncheck the rate lock in the little tutorial thingy. As soon as I checked it, it stayed at 44100.

I'm using Cakewalk Guitar Studio by the way. Really old but it does the job.

Thanks a lot Disposable!
