whats the deal guys??? I have a new computer on the way....ofcourse it will have Vista on it and I looked at M-audio's site and there dont seem to be any vista drivers.....am I gonna have to stick with my XP box?

Sorry, your dealing with a company that was once good on drivers and things. Now they are owned by AVID and they suck. If you want/need to run Vista dump the 1010 and go with a good reputable company like RME or Echo Audio.

They released firewire and usb drivers last week. PCI will be next but don't know when.

my wife found this pretty sweet deal on HSN on a Gateway...2 gig ram, 250 gig HD, AMD Athlon duo core 2.1 ghz, 19" widescreen flat panel with an HD TV card....but again, it will have Vista...wonder if I should install my version of XP home.....

yea--i give up. i'm buying a Tascam DP01 8 track digital recorder. i've had an audiophile 24/96 forever and always had problems with it. when i got my new pooter with VISTA(came with the package) i installed that Maudio card and i had to re-load Vista. big ass crash i'm tellin ya.

I'll edit/master on my pooter, but not record on it. i paid $200 for that card way back when and it's now rendered useless. thanks M-audio:mad:
