Hi does anyone know or have the delta 1010lt soundcard. I was wondering which cables are inputs and which are outputs. Are the reds inputs or the whites. Also if i want to put my mixer output into the sound card how could i do that which cables are needed baring in mind the output is 1/4 line in connection. Appreciate anyone with an answer thanks for your time

red and white do not signify in or out but rather right and left. White is left Red is right. The #s will be odd=left, even=right. These rules apply to almost all audio gear. For the delta 10/10LT the connections with gray cable are in and the ones with black cable are out. The input output #s are marked on the connectors. (need to be in well lit area to see) For connecting to your mixer you will need 1/4inch to rca cables for 6 (3-8) and 1/4 to XLR for 1 and 2. be sure to set up the card so that 1 and 2 are line and not using the cheap mic-pres on the card.(the pre-amps on your mixer are probably going to be better) They make 8 channel 1/4 to rca snakes that makes it easier but you will need XLR to RCA addaptors for channels 1 and 2.

Good luck

The inputs and outputs are labeled right on the RCA Connector .... it"s pretty small but is clearly visible in good light .....

shut up m8 i come on forums bacause people myt be able to tell me rather than reading the hole manual to find it
iv had sum good feed back thanks alot. and other info like cable needs etc so to be fair the manual isnt need is it

dude...really?

You got the answer and someone went to the effort of getting you a link so that you can have a reference copy for the future. The manual may be invaluable to you if you run into additional problems. I donno...busting someones chops for helping you out just doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

I could be wrong. I appologize if I read too much into your response.

Anyways...I've got two LT cards in my setup. I'm using RCA to 1/4" snakes feeding into a pair of patch panels. This set up lets me run audio in/out from my pre-amps and headphone distribution stuff. Takes the hassle from having to reach around to the back of the gear pulling cables all the time. This way all my LT ins/outs are at my finger tips and easily accessible.

There are lots of manufacturers and different pricing. You'll want to do your own homework to find a product and pricing that's right for you.

Best of luck.
