Delta 1010lt question

The 1010lt has two hardware jumpers you can set on the card to tell it what kind of levels you expect on the XLR inputs. But it seems like the software control panel lets you set this as well in the Variable Input Signal Levels section. Are these adjusting the same thing?

No, mics and line levels have different voltages, if you set the jumper for mic input and send a line signal though it you will most likey get distortion, the jumpers will adjust the pre's and the software will adjust after the pre's.

The jumpers will bypass the Mic pre. If you set the jumper to accept line level, then two XLR will act like RCA ones but in balanced mode.
