Is anybody out there using the Delta 1010LT with Windows XP? I just recently installed the card and haven't been able to get very good audio quality (dropouts & popping). I'm running it on a Dell 2.4Ghz with 512 MB RAM. It's currently sharing an IRQ with two other devices. I've tried changing slots but it just gets assigned to share the same IRQ as the video card. From all the posts that I've read it I've been tempted to reinstall XP so that I can assign it, it's own IRQ.

Wanted to check and see if anyone had any hands on experience before I go the reinstall route.

Thanks.

sharing with video is not good.
you may be able to go into the bios and force the slot not to share.

Currently, it's being shared with the NIC, but I make of point of disconnecting from the internet when I'm trying to record. I've checked the BIOS, and it doesn't give me an option to change any PCI settings.

I guess my original question should of been is anybody using the 1010LT with XP successfully without assigning it, it's own IRQ.

Just purchased a 1010LT. Motherboard is a ASUS P4P800-VM w/2.8GHz P4 processor running WinXP Pro. Will be chewing on it all this week. Will advise.
