Right now I´m using a little Behringer mixer, the first two XLR ins from Delta1010lt and Audiobuddy as my main inputs. Every time I mix I have to use the mouse, I don´t have another option right now, but a Mackie VLZ Pro 1202 or 1402 is in my plans. Do you think it would be enough for record and monitoring at the same time??. Can I use it for mixing???. Somebody may have this mixer/soundcard combo and could tell me about how it works.

Thanks
TS

I think the way it works is after you've finished tracking, you run the 8 delta outputs into the mixer, and run the Main stereo outs of the mixer back into 2 of the delta's line inputs, and onto 2 new tracks. Only problem with that is you've only got 8 tracks to work with. I suppose you could create submixes in the pc first, and rationalise tracks that way

I never thought about that my limit is my soundcard outs, I only could work with 8 tracks. :( Mmmmmmmm using the mouse is my best option as far I can see, I will go for the mackie to replace my little behringer.

Thanks
