I'm pretty confused. I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on what is happening with me. I just purchased PIII 500MHz, abit BE6 motherboard. I purchased midiman delta 1010 soundcard, installed on NT OS on one partition and it worked great. After installing the drivers for the windows 98 partition with no problems, I went back to NT to record some more, and all 8 inputs on the midimans control panel software are clipping, all red. I never changed any settings, the power light on the delta 1010 doesn't come on anymore. I have no conflicts with the computer. This happens when ntracks is running and when it isn't running.
I got a new pci card and unit (they didn't send me a power supply or host cable) and installed this one, and its doing the same thing.
I tried a different pci slot, disabling the delta in windows 98. Midiman said it might be a bad relay in the unit for the first one, but could this be a coincidence that the second one they sent has the same problem? It doesn't matter if I have any mixer cables hooked up or not.
Just thought I'd see if anyone had the same problems, or any ideas?
