my breakout box wont turn on anymore. I tested my psu on other things to make sure it wasnt that, changed the 25 pin cable and that didnt work. Is there a fuse inside that I can change? I dont think its the card because im still able to use spdif on the card.

If by "tested the PSU" you mean anything other than checked if it was outputting the correct voltage/current or tested with another Delta, you didn't test it correctly. The PSU on my Delta went once but was still supplying some voltage. Just not enough to power the Delta. The PSU would be my guess.

if its not the power supply there is a micro switch in the rack that the computer trips when it switches on to power up the rack if that fails to trip the rack will not power up.
what watt power suppy are you using in the pc and have you added any more hardware within the pc ,the only reason i ask is because i once spoke to them about the same problem and they told me my power supply was not big enough to trip the switch(a load of crap?? because when i ran american technical support he told me it was a faulty micro swith and nothing to do with the power suppy)

who do you belive ?

When I owned a Delta 1010, it stopped turning on. I had to send it into M-Audio for repair. They fixed it free of charge, no questions asked. I have no idea how old it was because it was given to me. Worked when I got it. Meh...

I had a delta 1010 with the same issue. Well, maybe not exactly the same. Mine would only turn on with a dim light, and all the audio was fuzzy sounding and not very loud

They said it was a blown cap and fixed it free of charge as well

What kills me is that I paid over $500 for PCI version just a couple years ago, and now can't give it away. That is the difference between old school analog recording equipment, and today's PC recording. I recorded an album 15 years ago on the very board Led Zeppelin 2 was done on 25 years before that, and it was far from being "outdated". It's still in use today.

Sorry for getting off topic, but it's a slow day.:D
