My 1010's MIDI IN seems to have gone haywire and I can't explain it...any MIDI notes that I record into cubase show up about 1/16 BEFORE where they should be (where I recorded them in the performance). Even when I hit the note RIGHT on the click of cubase's metronome the note gets recorded about 1/16 note before that time...needless to say, everything is off tempo when I play it back.
Has anyone ever experienced MIDI ports giving out or going wonky? I hooked up my Midisport 2x2 today and it works perfect so it's not a cubase setting... I even did a test running a perfectly quantized midi performance through the out of the midisport and recording the exact same thing into the IN on the 1010 and the notes are off. How can this be possible???
