Delta 1010 Inputs 7 & 8

Howyadoin,

I'm having a problem with inputs 7 and 8 on my 1010. I'm feeding direct outs from my mixer's 1 through 8 into inputs 1 through 8 on the Delta. I get great levels as the mixer, but nada at the Delta Control Panel. I moved the inputs to 3 and 4 and everything is fine, so I know the signal chain is OK through the direct outs. All inputs and outputs are +4 db. Would there be a reason I'd only have inputs 1-6 working? The patchbay settings for 7 and 8 are the same as 3-6.

Maybe its the cables? I had a situation quite like this not that long ago and the cables were bad.

Check the internal mixer. By default they (7 & 8) are not only muted, but the volume slider is set to -134dB or somesuch.

if you tried everything mentioned, also try restarting the pc.

I had this happen to me on input 6 once and restarting the pc brought it back to life.
