Delta 1010 and Audition

I guess this isn't a new thread exactly, but I'm in need of immediate help...I installed my delta 1010 about a month ago, but now Audition is starting this "stuttering" that other people have described. At this point I'm faced with several deadlines and was wondering if someone could help me fix this problem. I'll attempt moving the sessions to other hard drives, but is there a permanent solution?

I don't have any experience with the delta 1010, but it appears that such stuttering is always accompanied by a setting on the software or hardware that's incorrect. I'd review those first.
