Suck 'em and see!
anyone running both these cards together?

I have a 1010 but I want more outputs. The 410 is well within my budget but I don't wanna fork out the cash if they wont run together. I've heard so many horror stories about multiple M-Audio cards.

I'm running windoze 98se, AMD 1800+, 512 PC2100

I don't have first-hand experience with this but this is what I've read about this issue:
The horror stories involved Windows 2000/XP.
With Win98SE, it's supposed to work just fine.

As long as the 410 has spidf in it will clock to the 1010. If it doesnt, dont do it!

it does have. But do I need to connect the two externaly? because I'd like to use the S/PDIF on one of the cards for recording my V-Amp pro

Try this: Connect the spdif out of the 1010 to the spdif in of the 410. Sync the 410 to external source. Connect the v-amp pro to the spdif in of the 1010.

Thanks Christiaan,

I haven't bought the 410 yet but it looks more like I'm heading that way

Alec.
