Delta 10/10 problem

I recently got a Delta 10/10 soundcard. When I use the 10/10 as the output device in my audio program ... It works for about 5 secs .. then the volume dies and sounds all distorted.

I have 2 sound cards installed. The Delta 44 works fine when I switch the device output to the 44. I am guessing this problem with the 10/10 is something other than the unit? I have tried all 8 analoge outputs and get the same result. The inputs seem fine so far.

Maybe its the unit? Hopefully someone here can give me a heads up?
