Not frequently, but unpredictably, while recording I'll get a drop in mic input. I bought my iMac a week before I added the mbox2mini & ProTools 7.4. As everything was new I didn't know the cause: The SM58, the imac, the mbox, the software?
Well 3 years later it still occurs...sometimes. I now have 3 mics and it's happened using all 3. I added an m-audio DMP3 mic pre about year ago and still happens sometimes. I record, voiceover, wearing earphones and I know when it's happening because all of a sudden it sounds like a blanket has been thrown over the mic...but of course not! Now,
I'm into a long recording project, probably years, building a library. So I'm recording often and last nite it happened again, and so this note to you looking for opinions. Anybody ever hear(xcuse the pun) of this happening? I believe it's the mbox2mini...opinions?
