I never had this probem until I changed MOBO and O/S. I was using win ME and had an old apollo pro mobo. Now I have the ASUS a7m266 and XP 2000+ and am using XP pro. No matter if its CD direct playback, Cubase 5.1 playback, or Wavelab, it will begin to skip into the song. I have not installed the VIA 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 drivers fr the MOBO yet, mainly because I understand it to work for the onboard audio aspect of the asus mobo, whch is disabled because I use my Tascam US-428 DAW, but I willtry it and if it doesn't work, I will follow up. SOmeone please help! Thanks!
