Delay when recordin Audio in FL-Studio

I have FL Studio XXL producer, when i try to record audio there's too much delay, i think it's latency problem. to record in fl it requires ASIO, and I have asio software in FL.
and it doesn't delay what is already recorded but only whats being recorded.
i dont have any sound card i use the standard on-board 1/8" input.. do i need some kind of sound card or audio interface?

Badly.

But for now, see if this improves your latency - LINK. Follow the instructions and install it --- it won't solve your problem, but depending on other factors it will help anywhere from a little to a lot.

Thaks alot sscientist !! that helped me alot there's just very little delay which doesn't bother me at all, i'm sure i can adjust that in that program.
p.s. I like that Simple/Sdvanced button where they have bush for simple and einstein for advanced...
