Delay on Rap Vocals?

How do you get the effect where it sound like a slight reverb effect.. on the rap vocals but it isn't? I've been told people use delay but how do you do it in Cool Edit Pro?
 
Can you post an example of the effect you are trying to get?
 
The best place to apply a delay to rap vocals is right before recording them. Use the longest delay time possible. Several decades past eternity is preferable.

Hahaha Ocnor apprently doesn`t like rap...Hes pretty funny though!! Try messing around with Adobes stock echo effect..I think you`ll find what you are looking for..
 
Cool Edit should have it too...you should upgrade to AA3 though
