I just got my tascam demagnatizing wand and I was wondering if I can use it not just on my 4-track, but also on my tape deck in my stack stereo...and also like an independant mixdown deck too...
what do you all think?

Sure, no problem. I find it easier to take the front cover off the tapedeck so you can get at the heads, but I guess that's obvious.
 
green h - I tried cleaning the heads on my cassette player with vodka one night (okay - I'd been drinking it, too), but it didn't work, and they haven't worked well since. I've learned my lesson. Don't waste Smirnoff on your sound system.

On the other hand, maybe the bromo selzer might cure the hangover problem...
