Defraggin with XP

I have read an been told that defraggin was not a good idea with Sonar XL, that it may mess up the audio files. I did a backup for safety and then did a defrag with XP. It did a great job, and the performance is much better in Sonar. Any thoughts out there?...
 
Defraggmenting IS important! Do it often!

That's right...
Deffrag your HD periodically. You'll notice your machine goin' faster, and reduce data loss/error. Specially when you do big sized file often (like songs data we work on SONAR). Using Norton Speed Disk deffrag your HD almost 4X faster than the one comes with Windows... :)
