Defective C1

First time tried to use it, it makes intermittent sputtering and popping sounds. Like a mosquito's stuck in there, randomly flying into the diaphragm. Tried two preamps and cables- same problem. My 603s on same setup- no problems.

Good news: Mac Midi Music sent me a new one immediately(at least they said they did) and gave me their FEDEX account # to return the defective one at no charge to me. Two hours after calling Mac Midi, FEDEX was at my workplace picking up the package. Pretty cool... hope the next one works.
 
MacMidi is a good dealer for us, so I am sure he has take care of it. In either case you can always contact us as well. We have only had one bad C1 since day one, and with the quantity we are selling, that is very good.

Replacement arrived yesterday. I played around with it for a few minutes and it works great. I'm happy.
